- I couldn't agree with you more... That was precisely my point of
- thinking that a set of JAVA chips should be incorprated on the
- motherboard. Not to mention, if AT (or really their developers) got
- really creative, they could find a way to create some really unique
- applications that were just for interactive creativity taking the Amiga
- multimedia to new levels. Imagine Scala as a JAVA application for
- example... (And if were AT, I would get AmigaVision turned into a JAVA
- app fast, since it would be platform independent then the Amiga name
- could show up on PCs and Macs everywhere echoing to people "you have a
- choice!")

- AT's concentration must be beyond the client side of the web and into the
- serving and content creation. It is there best hope for bringing the
- platform back into the mainstream. On the client argument, they (as well
- as Acorn or the late Atari), could make the argument for the
- network-as-app paradigm, yet show people how they still get to keep a
- hard drive and local data and apps if they want to...
